British Cold Weather Reversible Jacket - Fair Grade
These jackets have been separated from regular stock for being a bit less than ideal. the main problem with these are stains/writing to the fabric (especially tan side as pictured) and holes which may be repaired with a little work.
These are what the British Army often term 'softies' - or what the official label calls them; 'thermal jacket, reversible.' Basically if you are a heading somewhere cold (Scotland for example, or way worse - Norway) these are intended for a mid layer. They are very roomy and internally lined with puffy polyester that is designed to trap in the warmth your body is generating. Needless to say, you will need a hard shell layer over the top of these to stop wind chill from ruining your softies & body's natural hard work!
The features are very simple - zip up front running from top to bottom for quick donning/removal. Elasticated cuffs, draw cord waist and collar to trap in your bodies warmth. Another pretty neat feature is these are reversible because yes, believe it or not - the desert does get very cold at night so the British Army have kindly made both sides different colours for desert & woodland environments (pockets on both sides too!).
All in all, a really cosy & very roomy mid layer for serious Winter missions be it camping, hunting, battlefield or a bit of airsoft!
