Flecktarn Waterproof Boonie Hat

Boonie hats were originally introduced by the U.S. Army to protect soldiers from sun and rain, but also to conceal their outline and add camouflage. Australian's will know this style of hat as a 'bush hat' or 'giggle hat'. This flecktarn boonie hat is waterproof for increased protection when it starts pouring down. 

As with all good boonie hats, this one features a foliage ring for adding vegetation for improved camouflage. It also has two ventilation holes on either side. An adjustable chin strap completes the boonie hat design. To top it off, this hat comes in the popular flecktarn camouflage. A classic hat for fishing, hunting and hiking, providing essential protection from scorching sun rays and wet weather.
